Overview
formcurve is an editorial sports-preview site. This page explains which data we process when you visit formcurve.app. We keep data collection to a minimum and only run analytics after your explicit consent.
Analytics & consent
We use two analytics tools: Matomo (self-hosted at matomo.sumyou.com) and Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.). Matomo runs cookieless and anonymised until you consent; Google Analytics is loaded with Google Consent Mode v2 set to "denied" by default and is only activated once you accept in the cookie banner. IP addresses are anonymised in both tools. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Cookies
Without consent we store only a single technically necessary entry in your browser (localStorage "fc_consent") that remembers your privacy choice, plus a language cookie. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept.
Hosting & server logs
The site is hosted on servers in Germany. The web server temporarily processes standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) to deliver and secure the service. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Maps (OpenStreetMap)
Event pages can show a location map. The map is only loaded after you click it; loading transfers your IP address to OpenStreetMap Foundation (openstreetmap.org) to deliver the map tiles. Without a click, no data is sent.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection regarding your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
